PROGUARD® Temporary Handrail Posts are an invaluable asset in the protection of site operatives from falls from unprotected staircases, landings, and other areas during construction. Available in corner post, standard post, and stringer post configurations to suit most applications, they use standard 40mm thick timber lengths for the railing portion, saving cost and increasing simplicity of installation. These posts are manufactured from high quality steel with a durable coating to enable them to be reused multiple times.
Fix the posts at even spacings around the edge that needs protecting, using the fixing holes in the base plate. Insert lengths of timber into the support hooks. Fix the timber lengths into place using screws through the fixing holes provided. Post spacing should not exceed 1200mm at centres.
